I'm a tutor based in Richmond, Virginia focusing on writing amongst other English-related academic fields. I know firsthand the pain that many students associate with becoming a strong writer. I was only able to establish my own skill through years of sheer hard work in the form of practice at school and in my spare time. I've used my interactions with the best writing professors that I've had to develop a means of connecting deeply with other writers. I use this connection with my students to focus on the topic at hand and help them mold a piece into the best it can be. I've made a habit out of collaborating with other writers, and so I've developed a real passion for helping others work really shine. As a recent graduate from college, I feel that my perspective can be more relatable and understandable than that of a professor. I also know that oftentimes college courses require students to write about topics that they may not have an interest in. I can use my passion of the field of writing to help spark that interest, in whatever way possible, and help my students put out a strong piece of work regardless of their interest level. I love tutoring because I feel like I get as much out of it as my students. I hope that I can use the skills I've developed throughout my academic career to help you reach new heights in your writing!
